Collection: Gross motor skills

Babies start to practise their gross motor skills even when they're in the womb. Gross motor skills use large muscles, such as arms, legs and neck.

You can start tummy time from when your baby is born (but remember, babies should only be on their tummies when they are awake. If your baby falls asleep, please put him or her onto their back). Essentially, these skills involve using muscles which help perform everyday functions, such as sitting, squatting, walking, catching a ball...etc.

Here are some toys which might help in the development of their gross motor skills.
