"What an exciting world to be in, but everything seems so scary too..." That is probably what your little one is thinking. During these months, they're still sensitive to light and sound, and can in the first 8 weeks, they have no control over their movements (any movements are actually involuntary reflexes). They can hear well, but can only see with high contrasting images.
